To ensure that we have the greatest amount of time together, please complete the New Patient Information prior to your first visit: What to expect on your first visit. On your first visit we will do a detailed intake that includes your vitals, questions about lifestyle, and your current condition. Then we will take a look at your tongue and feel your pulse on both arms. It is best to avoid any stimulants like coffee or teas. This will alter your natural pulse rate. Once we have completed the intake, a treatment plan will be presented. This could include acupuncture, cranial sacral therapy and herbal medicine. Do we accept insurance? At this moment we do not accept insurance. However, we wil be more than happy to generate a bill/receipt to submit to your insurance company. Many do reimburse for acupuncture treatments, flex-spending and health-saving account (HSA), but we have not found any that reimburse for herbal treatments. Appointment cancellation or tardiness. Please give 24 hours notice for any cancellation. "No show/No Notice" will be charged 1/2 of the treatment cost on the next visit. This will allow others to have your time-slot if needed. If you are going to be late, please contact us. Tardiness will limit your treatment time. |
