Day 15-
I had Lentils today- I took a days off from them and I have to say I enjoyed the little guys again. I had a nice day at work, and was able to pack my lunch and take both veggies and fruit to hold me over until I got home to have a shake. The shakes really are filling, even if I make a smaller size one. I tend to make a 16 oz- 24 oz one depending on how busy my day is going to be.
I can sip on them for as long, or as short as I want to.
I am still holding at 7LBs, but a few more ounces are dropping and I hope to get to 10-12 pouneds before this last week is over.

Day 12-
Head still in the game is referring to the idea of wanting to be done and I know I still have 9 more days to go. It isn't to difficult for me at this point, but it would be nice to pick a few other foods outside the parameters of the "list." I mentioned earlier in one of my posts that after the 11th day you can add a protein to your diet. I have decided to add tofu to mine. It isn't on my "list" but this is going to be my replacement for an egg, or meat. I accept the consequenses and in control of my choices. < Again, not going to defeat myself mentally here just because I strayed some> I still feel the benefits of this cleanse.
One thing I should mention- My skin is looking really good. I can tell with the color of my cheeks and the pores on my face. Nice side effect. Oh and I have lost 7lbs now!! I really like this effect. :-)
Breakfast: 16oz. Juice: Carrot, Beet, and spinach
Lunch: Budda Bowl: Brown rice, Lentils, Collard greens, tofu
Snack: 1/2 apple- Fuji
Dinner : Smoothie: 1/2 small green apple, 2 scoops of SP complete, Kale,
Mental Check in: Feeling well & a sense of control
Physical Check in: No fatigue, and sleeping really well.

Exercise: Moderate exercise- cleaning the house-
Calories burned: 200-300 calories ( my best guess) 2.5 hours of cleaning.

DAY-4
Well today I woke up early thanks to Rex, my older dog. Since he got me up so early I found myself hungry early today. So I almost started my day off with lentils and brown-rice, but I talked myself out of it & stuck to the shake. I took my supplements first though and then made a smoothie.
Breakfast: Smoothie was a simple: SP-Complete mix (2 scoops), 1/2 banana, H20, frozen Pineapples (6 chucks), frozen peaches (5 slices), and a big handful of Kale. It was a green smoothie, but it wasn't to sweet from fruit, or to bitter from the Kale. I don't want anyone from being discouraged from trying the green in their drinks.
* This Detox, does allow for Stevia, but I haven't had any reason to use it yet.
Smoothie # 2- I used Rice milk, SP- complete mix (2 scoops) and a 3 berry frozen fruit mix. (Blackberry, rasberry, and blue berry), 1/2 banana, Handful of spinach & Ice. This was a very berry tasting and I have to say I enjoyed it a lot.
Dinner 1/2-cup of Lentils, and 1/2 cup of Brown rice. Steamed Zuccini and yellow squash, cabbage, kale, carrots and onions on top of Lentils and rice. ( I am finishing the big batch I made a day ago.)
Mental Check in: I can't believe it is day 4 and I didn't experience a HA. I totally expected one & I am happy to report- this has been a very easy start to this week of changing my diet.
Physical Check in: Other than a heel ache from jogging- feeling okay. I had fellow Acupuncturist poke some needles in me today- to help me get past this ache. Clearly my jogging is not that easy on my feet. Hoping to drop some pounds during this 21 days.
Water: 200 oz LOTS!
Frequent bathroom stops due to intake of H20.

Previously when I did a Juice fast, my 2nd, 3rd and 4th days had been the worst, dealing with a headache and feeling fatigued. I don't have anything to complain about with this one. I am truly surprised. I have energy and I haven't had any ill-effects. :-)
Breakfast: Shake at 10 am. I mixed it with water and 1/2 banana (frozen), blue berries (frozen). Today's shake more flavor. It was so cold it took me a while to drink. Same as yesterday minus the cacao powder. ( Still experiementing)
Snack: "Red Dawn" Juice from whole foods. (Beets, Spinach, and Carrots) + 1 oz Wheat grass added to juice. (ordered 32 oz ) but I split this into two servings. Noon, and PM, after my JD salad.
Lunch: 1-cup of Lentils, and 1/2 cup of Brown rice. Steamed Zuccini and yellow squash, cabbage, kale, carrots and onions on top of Lentils and rice.
Dinner: Salad at Jason Deli. I had to skip out on all the "extras" but I used Olive oil and lemon on salad. Stuck to the veggies on this one. No dairy, or crackers. Those little muffins JD offers were temping, I will admit. I also had about 6 apple slices that were offered at the salad bar.
Mental Check in: Feeling good- but surprised I have no headache or feeling run down.
Physical Check in: Still not regretting this task. Feeling good. No aches!
Water: Still drinking a lot, it is important to flush. I also drank a juice today (32oz) Listed above.
Thanks for checking in. :-)

Breakfast: Had a late start today but I my Shake at 11am. I mixed it only with water and 1/2 banana and ice. It wasn't very flavorful, but it wasn't awful either. It is kind of just plain. Well at least this one was. I think I had too much water mixed in. (?) Learning as I go..
Lunch: Medium apple, 1-cup of Lentils, and 1/2 cup of Brown rice. Steamed Zuccini and yellow squash, and some portabella mushrooms (very filling)
Dinner: 1/2 cup of Lentils and 1/2 cup brown rice and same veggie mix I fixed earlier. This was a smaller portion.
Learning that I need to drink more water, today I've done okay but most definiantly need more.
Exercise: I got on treadmill and did 2.25 miles, not much but it was something. Also did some bicep, chest and Ab exercises too. (20 minutes)
Mental Check in: Feeling really good about the decision and future change to come.
Day 1 not so bad, but plan on starting day 2 earlier & better prepared.
Physical Check in: No Headaches, or body aches- nothing to report today. Feel pretty normal.
* note* I am going to put my crock-pot to use and make some yummy veggie soup tomorrow. Easy to make & it will be ready to have when I am hungry. Can Steam some brown rice on the on the side, if soup isn't enough. (preparing)

I started my day at the movies today. I took a shake with me & drank it on my way. Today was another day of rest because I knew I had some out of town company coming in. I am not beating myself up for this because I do know my eating is under-control. I think had I had the time, or made the time for it -obviously it would of been more beneficial for my overall performance on this cleanse. Lesson here- Is not to give myself such a hard time, yet also accept the consequenses of not buring those extra calories.

Lunch: Smoothie: Beet, Carrot, Spinach Juice 8oz
Snack: no snack ( I had a busy schedule)

Day 3-
Previously when I did a Juice fast, my 2nd, 3rd and 4th days had been the worst, dealing with a headache and feeling fatigued.

* note* I am going to put my crock-pot to use and make some yummy veggie soup tomorrow. Easy to make & it will be ready to have when I am hungry. Can Steam some brown rice on the on the side, if soup isn't enough. (preparing)

So Yesterday could of been a challenge because I met one of my girlfriends out for her birthday but thank goodness she actually picked a place I had some choices to make a smart decision. We went to Zen. Then I had a date in the evening and I basically choose another place just like Zen to keep me in check. Day 8
Today I am still feeling well and the food isn't wearing me down yet. I am on the other hand really trying to make a real effort with exercising. I really didn't feel like it today, but I did it & got it over with. I recently watched the movie "Hungry for a Change" and it mentioned in the movie that our fat is what helps protect us from the toxins within our system. So as I am detoxing I figured getting a good sweat going on as well. Help move things out with exercise as well. I might go slow, but I am at least moving.
Breakfast: Smoothie was a simple: SP-Complete mix (2 scoops), H20, 3-berry mix (Blue berries, rasberries, and blackberries), Kale, and a small granny smith apple.
Lunch: Another repeat- HUGE- non-fancy salad! Spring-mix and Baby spinach. 1 avacado, & I used 1/2 granny smith apple (finely sliced), and 6 cherry tomatoes. (No dressing used)
- About 2 hours later, I had my 1 cup of lentils and 1/2 cup brown rice
Snack: No snack today
Dinner Smoothie: SP complete (2 scoops), 1/2 cup -3 berry mix & Kale (handful).
Mental Check in: No fogginess, but was resistant to workingout, even though I wanted to. Once I started, I was fine.
Physical Check in: No adverse issues.
My arms/shoulders were not as bad I as thought they'd be. I can tell I worked them, but I am not having the major lactic acid build up-aches.
Heel still hurts. I am pretty sure I got plantar Fascia going on. I am still going on anyway. Hence my Slogan today in the picture box. <reminder to self!>

7 days down and I am still feeling really good about this cleanse. I wasn't sure i'd be satified eating within the parameters of this program and was really ready to give you guys some compliants about it. However, I really don't have any (thus far). I am feeling full, and I know I still have room for more calories within my day. I weighed this A.M. and I've lost 3LBs. which I feel is reasonable amount of weightloss. It isn't to much, to quick, or to little to get discouraged. Most importantly, I am really feeling good.
Tomorrow I start days 8- 21, I will be adding in more greens-via supplements. At Day 11, I am allowed to add lean proteins into my diet. I haven't decided if I'll do this or not. I will figure it out as I go.
One more thing- I know my diet is kind of bland, and I repeat my foods, but at this point I am using what I have in my refrigerator and Will hit the store this weekend to grab a few more items. I am also reading some vegan recipes to spruce things up. :-)
Breakfast: Smoothie was a simple: SP-Complete mix (2 scoops), H20, 3-berry mix (Blue berries, rasberries, and blackberries) and big handful of spinach.
* No Rice Milk today

I am approaching the end of the first week and in reflection this week has not been to hard. What I did find surprising was my mind. My mind wandered often while I was out running errands. What was the biggest surprise for me was- how easy it was to think about food products when I wasn't even hungry. By that I mean... just seeing a sample out at Cosco's normally we don't think twice about taking in this bite-size morsel into our bodies. Those samples for the most part are processed foods. Doing this cleanse, I was mindful and avoided those samples.

DAY-4
Well today I woke up early thanks to Rex, my older dog.

No aches!

Day 11- Sunday
I started my day at the movies today. I took a shake with me & drank it on my way. Today was another day of rest because I knew I had some out of town company coming in. I am not beating myself up for this because I do know my eating is under-control. I think had I had the time, or made the time for it -obviously it would of been more beneficial for my overall performance on this cleanse. Lesson here- Is not to give myself such a hard time, yet also accept the consequenses of not buring those extra calories.

Breakfast: Smoothie was a simple: SP-Complete mix (2 scoops), Rice milk, frozen Pineapples (6 chucks), 3-berry mix (Blue berries, rasberries, and blackberries) and big handful of spinach.
I will probably stop using rice milk, or at least make sure I only use a little bit of it, due to the sugars and calories it has.

Day 5-
I am approaching the end of the first week and in reflection this week has not been to hard.
Breakfast: Smoothie was a simple: SP-Complete mix (2 scoops), Rice milk, Kale, 1/2 cup of 3 berry mix (Blue berries, blackberries, and rasberries).

DAY-4
Well today I woke up early thanks to Rex, my older dog.

Day 6-
I am hoping for some weight-loss, but my scale is not dropping much. However, I am feeling skinnier, and I can tell my face looks thinner. Perhaps, less-puffy? Either way- i'll take it. Transformation is occurring & I'm learning to be patient.
* This Detox, does allow for Stevia, but I haven't had any reason to use it yet.
Lunch: Sweet potato - and mixed veggies: Squash, Zuccini, onion, spinach, and green beans.
Dinner 1/2-cup of Lentils, and 1/2 cup of Brown rice. Steamed Zuccini and yellow squash, Spinach, green beans, onion. (grilled in skillet, no oil used)
Mental Check in: Excited about the subtle changes in my skin. (face)
Physical Check in: Feeling good, and face is less puffy.
Exercise: Did P90X- plyometrics DVD - Burned 700 cal. ( I use a Polar- heart-monitor to track my exercise)
Water: 6, 32 oz glasses of H20
* Supplements for this detox are being taken inbetween the meals and or shakes.

Day 5-
I am approaching the end of the first week and in reflection this week has not been to hard.
Breakfast: Smoothie was a simple: SP-Complete mix (2 scoops), Rice milk, Kale, 1/2 cup of 3 berry mix (Blue berries, blackberries, and rasberries).
* This Detox, does allow for Stevia, but I haven't had any reason to use it yet.
Dinner 1/2-cup of Lentils, and 1/2 cup of Brown rice. Steamed Broccoli (microwave bag full)
Mental Check in: No fog and still feeling strong mentally.
Physical Check in:
Heel was not as painful after treatment.
Water: maintaining the water intake. Prob a little less than yesterday. 4-5 32 oz cups.
* Supplements for this detox are being taken inbetween the meals and or shakes.
Days 1-7, are explained on this first page of my detox
